The Healthcare Club creates a community of healthcare focused individuals and regularly sponsors opportunities to interact with other members, healthcare professionals, professors, and thought leaders.

Alumni
- The Healthcare Initiative at Harvard Business School is a multidisciplinary program dedicated to innovative thinking in the healthcare industry. Launched in 2005, the Initiative brings together the extensive research, thought leadership, and interest in the business and management of healthcare that exists at HBS.
- An MBA Program for Aspiring Healthcare Professionals.
The core strengths of HBS-its general management and leadership-focused MBA program, its case method of teaching, and its global reach-coupled with the industry focus provided through the Healthcare Initiative result in superior educational and career opportunities for aspiring leaders in the healthcare industry.
Harvard Business School Health Industry Alumni Association (HIAA):
- The Harvard Business School Health Industry Alumni Association (HIAA) was established in November, 1999 to help bring together those who work in every part of the healthcare industry and in every part of the world.
- HBS alumni are involved in some of the most exciting companies, research and breakthroughs in healthcare. This organization provides an organized forum for them to communicate, interact and exchange ideas to aid in professional development and ongoing learning.
- The HIAA graciously sponsors the Annual Healthcare Club Conference, and also provides discounted admission for Club Members to the Annual HIAA Conference.

Public Events/Speakers:
- The Healthcare club organizes events to bring together members of the HBS Community with other students of Boston-area business schools, Boston-area science schools (including Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health) to promote understanding and awareness of current issues in healthcare.
News and Events:
Major club activities in the last couple years:
- The development of the Healthcare Club Advisory Board (HCAB), including the creation of the governance documents and the selection of Board members
- The development of the HCC Bio Book (a marketing book that profiles each member of the HBS Healthcare Club). See the Bio Book HERE.
- Supported the HBS Health Industry week in conjunction with the Healthcare Initiative and MBA Career Services, first introduced in Fall 2007.
- Planned the RC Welcome Presentation along with the Healthcare Initiative
- Hosted a 50-person networking event in San Francisco for alumni and current club members
- Mapped out a framework to describe the organizational structure of healthcare across Harvard
- Broad participation in alumni-student mentorship programs
